Hello there, wearied e-traveler!

Welcome to my tiny slice of the internet, which Al Gore was gracious enough to rent out to me. I figure if there's one thing the internet needs more of, it's amateur websites of unpublished writing by unknown authors, am I right? So here we are.

This site contains writing spanning the last decade or so. If you like what you read and need to commission a writer for any kind of project, fiction or non-fiction, feel free to contact me. I am happy to hire out my services. Interesting trades considered.

For more of my work, as well as writing by two other talented and attractive writers, visit www.penleak.com.

Please enjoy this photo of an

old-timey Underwood typewriter

which I do not own and have never written on.

I saw it in a sea food restaurant.

True story.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Benjamin James Lancaster has been writing, in varying capacities, since he knew how. As a fledgling writerly-type he studied under the impressive tutelages of literary gurus Edward Johnson, King George, and Mr. John F. Ross. At the tender age of 19 he was invited to Montreal to attend a number of classes taught by Sir George Williams, the notorious bad-boy founder of the YMCA. Eventually, Benjamin graduated these courses with extensive congratulations. His thirst for knowledge and for drink culminated shortly afterwards in an intensive, year-long

apprenticeship with David Hume, deep within the wild moors of Scotland. After penning a plethora of stories and completing several artistic projects, he was awarded, bafflingly, a Master's degree in Science. Born in Guelph, schooled in Montreal, and seasoned in Edinburgh, he now hangs his hat and his cat in Toronto. Benjamin continues to write fiction, with the occasional sprinkling of editorial prose and foggy-morning dream recollections thrown in for good measure.
